How to Support Local Student Leaders Reaching Their School
Let's break it down...
Student leaders across the nation are working hard to make Jesus known on their campuses. But what can you do to help encourage the student leaders in your local area? We've broken it down into a few simple actions for each season that aligns with their Student Action Plan -a comprehensive tool that they can use to plan out their outreach and club meetings. Check out how you can support them below!
Fall
- On Sept 22, go to student's school flag pole to pray during See You at the Pole.
- Activate church to pray for club launch, outreach, and campus impact overall.
- Bonus: Consider hosting a Meant for More Night at your church.
Winter
- Order free Lifebooks for students.
- Consider financially supporting student outreach.
- Coordinate with student to schedule a fun follow up youth group event at your church.
Spring
- Activate church to pray for outreach.
- Help student print out materials.
- Guest speak or visit during outreaches and club meetings.
- Coordinate to host a kick off, celebration night, and/or fun follow up event.
Summer
- Encourage them early on!
- Clearly state how you intend to support them over the next year.
- Ask frequently for updated prayer requests, pray over them.
