Our History
Warren Willis, Founder of Decision Point, formerly National School Project, was involved in full-time Christian ministry for nearly 60 years. A majority of these years were spent serving with Campus Crusade for Christ (now CRU) anywhere from the turbulent UC Berkeley campus in the 1960’s to the outskirts of Mongolia.
Upon returning to the States, Warren was heartbroken at the state of America’s public school system. Having spent decades overseas, he never imagined such a mission field could exist right in his hometown of Los Angeles. This realization led Warren to found National School Project in 2002.
Twenty years later, in 2022, we celebrated our 20th year as a ministry, and decided to change our name from National School Project to Decision Point to allow us to move forward in strength as the Lord continued to expand the ministry both locally in the United States and around the world.
