Apply to be a Lead Coach
Lead Coaches are part-time staff, typically college students, who take leadership roles in Campus Ministry so that high school students can meet Jesus.
Lead Coaches at the basic level are given a mission field of 3-4 campuses, home to 3,000 - 8,000 students, and a mission to lead and develop teams of mentors to coach high school students at those campuses. Lead Coaches serve as role models, hands-on trainers, and supervisors for Meant for More Coaches assigned for each school. They get to shepherd and foster the community within each chapter towards God and each other as they are on mission together. They also have the opportunity to directly minister to the high school students at each campus to help them achieve their outreach goals.
All of these roles are paid, part-time positions that involve support raising.
To learn more about any of these roles, talk to your Chapter Director or email info@nationalschoolproject.com
Part-Time Job, Full-Time Responsibility
- Coach Student Leaders: Lead Coaches provide personalized coaching to middle and high school student leaders, equipping them with the skills and tools necessary to give their entire campus an opportunity to hear the gospel! It's not uncommon for Lead Coaches to walk with their students for years at a time.
- Recruit Volunteer Coaches:Lead Coaches intentionally recruit volunteer coaches and build a strong team to multiply the number of student leaders that can be coached in an area! Through their efforts, more students at more schools can be reached with the gospel.
- Foster Local Christian Community: Lead Coaches build relationships and partner with local pastors, parents, and teachers in their area to ensure students sharing Christ have the support they need to reach their peers for Christ! These partnerships also ensure that new believers can plug into a local church and experience long-term discipleship.
This is a big job and only succeeds as these leaders faithfully depending on Christ enable them for His work. Because He is faithful, year after year, we see that God uses Lead Coaches to change students' lives.
